As the 2026 World Baseball Classic (WBC) is set to officially launch next week, the Ministry of Culture announced today (25th) that following the great reception of the first wave of "daily use" stickers featuring cultural diplomatic ambassador a-We released in late January, the second wave of stickers specially designed for the baseball season, "a-We Powers Up! Taiwan's Baseball Cheering Mysticism," is now available globally on LINE. This time, a-We will accompany fans both at home and abroad with "Roll a Six!", "Taiwan is Brave" and other most distinctly Taiwanese "cheering mysticism" dynamic stickers, as well as matching stickers launched simultaneously, to energize and cheer for Taiwan's baseball heroes.
The Ministry of Culture stated that a-We's first wave of daily use stickers sparked heated discussions in both Taiwan and Japan's social media communities. Not only did users comment "so cute, already purchased," but even enthusiastic Japanese fans simultaneously purchased both Taiwan and Japanese versions, saying "Although I can't understand the characters, it feels like very understandable words, cute and very useful," and "I can learn Taiwanese expressions through this." Japanese netizens even seriously inquired about the precise usage of the Taiwanese version of "Areh" and "Pah-se," demonstrating the powerful charm of an IP that transcends borders and promotes cross-cultural and linguistic exchange.
