Taiwan Delegation to the 26th International Museums Council Prague Conference - "The Power Origins from Taiwan" Showcases the Strength of Museums
The triennial international cultural heritage summit—the 26th International Museums Council Conference—will be held in Prague, Czech Republic from August 20-28 this year, featuring a 9-day forum, conference sessions, and expo that welcomes museum and cultural professionals from around the world to exchange ideas and experiences. Under the organization of the Republic of China Museum Association, with guidance from the Ministry of Culture and support from the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Palace Museum, Hakka Affairs Commission's Hakka Culture Development Center, The Cultural Taiwan Foundation, and Taiwan Museum Education Foundation, as well as public and private museums across the nation, Taiwan will present a thematic pavilion titled "The Power Origins from Taiwan" that aligns with the conference theme "The Power of Museums." This exhibition will showcase the accomplishments and abundant capacities of Taiwan's museum community in implementing four major themes: "Inclusion: The Power of Sustainability," "Mission: The Power of Community and Public," "Vision: The Power of Leadership," and "Transmission: The Power of Technology."
